Privacy Policy

Account information — name, email address, and role when you register.

Profile information — farm details, practices, and certifications you choose to provide as a seller.

Transaction information — reservations, payments, payouts, and messages tied to a listing or reservation.

Usage information — how you interact with the Platform, collected to improve and secure the service.

We use your information to operate the marketplace, process payments and payouts, relay messages between buyers and sellers, verify sellers, enforce state compliance rules, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

When you send a message through the Platform, it is relayed to the other party. The system adds only the message body, marketplace branding, and a secure link back into the application. We do not add your account email address, phone number, hidden metadata, or internal identifiers to relayed messages.

However, any contact information you type into the message body is relayed as written. Meatory does not scan or redact message content. To keep your contact information private, keep communication within the in-app messaging channel rather than typing email addresses or phone numbers into messages.

Payment and payout processing is handled by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers or bank account numbers on our servers. Connected-account and bank details are managed by the payment provider under its own security and compliance standards.

When you accept these Terms or our Privacy Policy, we record an immutable acceptance record containing your user identifier, the document type and version, a timestamp, and (where available) your IP address and user agent. We retain this record to demonstrate consent.

We share information with the other party to a transaction (e.g., your name to the seller, or the farm name to the buyer), with our payment provider to process transactions, and with authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

We retain transaction, ledger, audit, and acceptance records for the period required by law and for fraud prevention. You may request deletion of non-essential profile data, subject to legal retention requirements.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact the Platform through the in-app support channel to exercise these rights.

We apply row-level access controls so that one user cannot read another user's private data. Sensitive fields (such as farm addresses and financial identifiers) are restricted to the owner and administrators. No security measure is absolute, but we design for least-privilege access.

The Platform is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will require renewed acceptance. The version number and date above identify the current version.
